Carl D. Bradley was a freighter that was 623' long. The ship was built in 1927. The ship broke in two and sunk during a storm.
was a two masted schooner. There is a crows nest still intact on one of the masts. This site has been granted special preserve status. Do not remove anything from the wreck. The wreck is located four miles north of Rogers City in Lake Huron.Sagamore was a 308' steel hulled whaleback steamer-barge. The Sagamore sank after being hit by the Northern Queen. The wreck is mostly intact but the pilot house separated from the ship when it sank. This wreck is located in the shipping channel. The U.S. Coast Guard should be notified of your presence at this site. Always monitor vhf channel 16 if you decide to dive this wreck.
Goshawk was a three masted wooden schooner that was 180' long. The wreckage is scattered in an area 180' x 80'. The wreck is located three miles NE of Tawas Point.
Newell A. Eddy was a scow schooner barge. The barge was 242' in length with three masts. The barge had a load of corn when it was separated from the ship towing it in a storm. This is a very deep wreck with the decks at 144' and the bottom at 168'. There is an eagle figurehead on the wreck. The wreck is on the NE side of Bois Blanc Island about .3 miles N of Raynold Reef.
Keuka was a 172' three masted schooner barge. She was built in Mt. Clemens, MI in 1889. Visibility is best in the spring, fall and winter when algae blooms are minimal. The wreck rests in an upright position and the top of the wreck can be reached in 35' of water. The wreck is located in Lake Charelovoix 1/2 mile from shore.
Salvor was a steel barge that was carrying a cargo of stone. The barge was 253' long. The wreck is located 2 3/4 miles N of the Muskegon Lighthouse.
State of Michigan
was a packet freighter that was 165 ft long. It was built in Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 1873. The ship rests upright and somewhat intact. The wreck is located about two miles NW of Whitehall, MI.Petoskey Diver Memorial is located a few hundred yards east of the Petoskey municipal marina, north of Bay Front Park. The site usually has a mooring buoy. It is strait north from 31385.84/48305.21 and North of 45.22.744/84.57.222. There is a Italian Marble Crucifix and other plaques to honor divers who have contributed to the sport.
Kate Winslow was a schooner that was 202' long. She was built in 1872 in Saginaw, Michigan.
Perseverance was a schooner. A collision with the Gray Eagle caused her to sink. The wreck is badly broken but many small artifacts remain.
Northwind was 299' long and built in Cleveland, Ohio in 1888. The Northwind struck Robertsons Rock in the North Channel. The wreck now lies in 120' of water but the bow can be reached at 80'. The wreck is upright and intact. This wreck is located in Georgian Bay.
